Congratulations to our swimmers for their excellent achievements at the 48th National Sports Meet - Colombo District Swimming Meet -2024.
A special mention should be made of our relay team who emerged 1st in both 50m free style and medley relays.
Our students celebrated the Sinhala and Tamil New Year yesterday in school. It was a day full of learning about the rich traditions and customs of Sri Lanka during the new year season.
The Spiritual Intelligence Association of Asian Grammar School organized the annual Ifthar program of the school. Students and staff of all 4 religions attended the event and took part in the event. Our students learnt many lessons about the month of Ramadan and the importance of fasting for Muslims. Celebrating these events in school and the participation of all students of all religions is very important at Asian Grammar School as it helps us teach the very important lesson - “diversity is strength”.
Thank you to all the teachers and parents to contributed towards the event in order to make it a success.
Our tiny tots at GIM celebrated water day last week. They learnt many lessons about the importance of water and how they can protect water even as little kids.
Moments from the IGESíA 2024 the Prefects Day organised by the Prefects Guild of Asian Grammar School for the years 2023-2024. It was a day full of exciting events to challenge the student leaders who attended the event.
For the first time in Sri Lanka , past pupil of AGS Arqam Anjath and his partner Amaya Suriyapperuma from Loops Integrated were awarded the GOLD medal at Young Spikes '24, Asia’s oldest and most prestigious creative communications awards held in Singapore. Arqam and his partner received this award for the Digital category.

It was a memorable day for the Prefects Guild of the school. The 2023-2024 Prefects’ Guild bid farewell to their role and welcomed the new Prefects’ Guild for the years 2024-2025.
Apart from the prefects, the sports captains and vice captains received their badges and appointments for their respective sports.
